I’ll be sitting at a traffic light and just start typing into my phone. It comes in sparks just as you profiled here. So nice to know I’m not the only one who writes like a mad woman before the kids wake up.

Yes!! Mad women unite. 🚦✍️ If the words come, you drop everything (except maybe the steering wheel) and write like hell. No better way. No other way. 💥

Lord, me too.. I have to be WARM to write, and after going to a writer's colony to revise my novel, now I have to have complete silence. Good luck to me, because I live in downtown Chicago ;)

Total solidarity. Warmth and silence are the dream—and downtown Chicago feels like the ultimate test of both! Holding hope (and maybe earplugs) for you. 💖

You mention Bono. The song "One" has always touched me deeply and can be used in many life situations. I really believe that subscribers here are very emphatic and yet motivated to provide you messages of strength and wellness. For me, I will just leave you with:

"We're one but we're not the same

We get to carry each other, carry each other

One!"
